It seems that so many real estate agents today are spending boatloads of money on their personal real estate websites in order to attract leads. While it is important to have a  great real estate website, it doesn’t have to cost a fortune. In fact, some of the most simple and inexpensive real estate websites seem to work the best.

A successful real estate website needs to have four (4) things: 1) A solid IDX platform 2) A good CRM system and 3) A simple and easy to use navigation menu. 4) Good Content

An IDX provider is crucial if you want to display live MLS data on your site. I have tried all of them and I have my own personal favorite. With an IDX system, it’s important the data is up to data and also allows your visitors to save properties and create lists.

A CRM is crucial in order to manage leads and keep track of visitors. Most Miami IDX systems will already have a CRM built in, and some will even allow you to use 3rd party integrations, such as Salesforce and Contactually.

It’s amazing how bad navigation can ruin a website. Everything should be simple and east to get to with just 1 or 2 clicks. If you are searching for a property in a specific neighborhood, then you should be able to get to that page easily.

Last by not least is the content. Having relevant content on your site that is unique and written by you or by a professional you hired, is one of the most important keys to success. Never copy content from another website and put it on your own site.

So yes having a nice website is important, but you’re time and money is better spent on writing good content and marketing, rather than investing thousands into your website.
